I have been
quite curious on what consulting business is all about. It
seems to me that such business carries with it exclussivity,
dearly price, and certainly only certain kind of societies
might be eligible to be part of it: the rich, the genious,
the last but not least, the insane ones.

Having studied
in an electronic engineering department at one of the most
prestigious universities in Indonesia had got me to learn
logics, that is anything inside the box. I hardly found
human sciences and philosophy such an interesting and fun
things to learn or study. And it stops in one fine day that
human cannot depend on logics alone. Reasoning demands more
than our sense of logics, and from that time on, I also
learn to live beyond the box.
I have been
growing in a family where trading is a daily breakfast as
well as dinner. I should have learned a lot from that family
environment that life is full of choices and opportunities
to those who open not only their eyes but also their gutt
and bravery.
I then set up
my own company to prove that I can still live in my family
tradition, only this time I do it with style. Running a
business, and then also taking a higher degree for Business
Finance at Prasetya Mulya Institute, that’s all it takes for
me to take another giant step. And now I am also teaching at
the IbiI (Indonesian Business Institute), one of the
renowns. I teach Business Ethics. What a colorful life!
Electronic Engineering, Business Finance, Business Ethics,
Medical and Academic Laboratory Tools Business, and my story
does not stop there. My long time colleague, Mahendra K.
Datu, asks me to join him in setting up the Club Mondial, an
Entrepreneurial Forum, and then a research and consulting
company.
Here I am now. But I still don’t want to
stop here. I want more, and more, and more. Challenge me,
and count me in. Cos I’m the game! |
